Add Single Reading
Summary: This will outline how to add single readings into eReserve Plus as an Academic.
## Introduction
eReserve Plus provides a comprehensive interface for adding resources to lists, allowing you to search accross connected repositories, upload resources in bulk using RIS files, and request the creation of new resources for your lists.

All of these options are available by clicking the Add button on the resource list toolbar. Click the Add button to open the resource discovery interface.

## Search for resources
Search for a reading by entering your search terms into the field, then click the search icon or press the Enter key to start searching the repositories.

The search engine will locate matching resources from your eReserve Repository and Library discovery. The search can also include thrid party sources such as EBSCO EDS, Primo, Summon and OCLC Worldcat.
Select a repository to view a selection of the search results returned. Each resource displays the citation details, identifier and type information. You can click the Open button to preview a resource.

## Filter Search Results
The search will display the first 20 results from the selected repository. To filter the search results and narrow down your search click the Filter icon to the left of the search field. The filter draw will open where you can add a filter to your search by clicking the + button.

Choose a selection of filters from the list and click the Apply button at the top right to use the selected filters.

Each applied filter will then display, allowing you to select filter options for your search.

Each filter will appear in the filter drawer, where you can add additional filter options to further narrow your search

When you have located a resource you can click the Select button to choose the resource.

If you cannot locate a suitable resource in the repositories, you can also [import resources from a file](#), or [request the creation of a new resource](#).

## Choosing a resource
When a resource has been selected a preview will display, and you can enter the scheduling details below. Select the reading importance and you can also record any notes for the library or students.
You can change a selected resource by clicking the Change button at the top right of the selected resource.
Click the Submit button at the top right to add the resource to your list.

### List Curation
The new resource will appear at the top of your list in the Ungrouped Readings folder. You can move the reading to a group folder by using the drag & drop handle on the right, or by checking the box on the left and selecting a group folder from the Move To menu on the toolbar.
