This update will prevent eReserve Plus from being used in an IFrame within a Learning Management System. eReserve are prepared for this change and have released an update to your Staging environment already. With this update, there will be a requirement for the eReserve Team and your IT Team to make some slight amendments to your current configuration of eReserve Plus and your Integration Records. | 03/02/2020 | Minor Software Update | UI Metadata Improvements - A minor software update will be applied to all Production environments on 4 February 2020 which is designed to deliver user experience improvements for the manual entry of metadata. The eReserve Plus development team have been working on a project throughout 2019 to ensure all metadata fields are consistent across the three alternative methods of manually adding resources to eReserve Plus. End-users may experience low level change to their normal practices, if they are regular users of the forms for submitting Book, Journal, Sound, Visual or Website resources to Reading Lists. In practical terms, this means some of the metadata fields have been moved around the page so that mandatory fields are required to be completed first. The spacing has also been improved for consistency. In accordance with this change, all eReserve Plus metadata guidelines on the help website have been updated to reflect these changes |

There is now a field for adding a prefix to the unit code so institutions can differentiate courses where a course code is shared across multiple LMS instances. The new field is only available where the Feature Switch has been turned on by the eReserve Support Team, so please get in touch if you need to test the new feature and discuss any requirements for data migration of existing course codes. |

| 03/10/2019 | Minor Software Update | Utilisation Report Improvements - The Utilisation Report is an aggregated report of all accesses to resources on Reading Lists between two dates. In January 2019 we made a change to ensure the report could run quickly and efficiently as a background process. This latest update improves the data available in the .csv file. Now there is a ‘Reading List Name’ column and the default sort means Library and Copyright Staff can more easily report aggregated utilisation by School, Unit and Reading List counts. Additionally, there is a column with a direct link to the item in Request Management. The update will be available in all eReserve Plus STAGING instances from 4 October 2019 and will be rolled-out to PRODUCTION instances a week later. From time to time minor changes are made to the standard citation style template and eReserve considers scheduling an update to the template on a bi-annual basis.
