Embedded Resources (Resource Linking)

Summary: This document outlines details on what embedded resources are and how it fits within content in your learning management systems.

Overview

eReserve Plus provides the ability to embed resources from your eReserve Plus lists inside any course content within your LMS environment for your course. This process is also known as Resource Linking. Resource links can be added wherever within any content that contains an HTML editor.

Once a resource link has been created, students are able to access active resources directly from the resource link. This means resources can be presented within context and increase student engagement for the course.

If a resource is Pending or Expired, the resource link will only display the citation for the resource but is not able to be accessed by students.
